Change To Speed Limit

THE Princes Hwy speed limit through Dapto will be reduced from 60km/h to 50km/h from Wednesday.
Member for Shellharbour Lylea McMahon said the speed reduction was in response to community concerns over pedestrian safety and would significantly improve the road environment for all users."The RTA reviewed the speed limit on the Princes Hwy after business owners and residents raised concerns about the speed limit along this route," Ms McMahon said."It is also the main road through Dapto's CBD and is used by a high number of pedestrians."The new speed limit will start 200m north of Unara Rd and end 220m south of Moombara St.
